How do we define talent?Every job, performed at excellence requires talent. Talent is not about a celebrated person like Johan Cruijff, Lance Armstrong or Tiger Woods. We know that neither their training nor determination are the prime source of their brilliance. Deep down we know that their secret weapon is talent. They are blessed with a secret gift. For most of us talent seems a rare and precious thing, bestowed on special, far-away people. They are "not us". Everyone - hidden or not - has a talent. So there is nothing special about talent. We simply look for recurring patterns of thought, feeling or behavior. That’s how we define talent and the best way to help an employee cultivate his talents is find him a role that plays to those talents. That’s exactly what we do at Excellion.
